I am 75 years old and have struggled with allergies all of my life. As a baby I was allergic to milk so broke out with eczema from head to toe. As a young child when I woke each morning blowing my nose, my sister in the next room yelled, “The fog horn is awake!” The congestion made it difficult to think and do my school work. I often had little energy, so my mom took me to various doctors who gave me the best options they had which only made me feel worse and more tired. As an adult, I struggled with always having to blow my nose, sinus infections, little energy and headaches.
When I was around 55 years old, I discovered that I was allergic to many antibiotics. I developed a very deep bad cough that kept me in bed a lot. My PCP gave me 3 different antibiotics in a 6 week period that I was allergic to. He told me that if I became very ill he didn’t know what to do for me as I couldn’t tolerate antibiotics. I asked him what he would do if that happened. He said that he would put me in a straight jacket (because I become so confused and dizzy when taking antibiotics) and put me in the hospital on a slow drip of antibiotics. After he was unable to help me get rid of my cough with antibiotics, he wrote me a letter and said that since I was not able to take antibiotics he could not help me and if I was not better in 6 months to make an appointment to see him. I asked to see another doctor in town who was with a different practice and well respected. He agreed with what my PCP said. I told the second doctor that I was thinking that I may be having an allergic reaction to the chemicals in our new bedroom furniture. I called my allergy doctor and he agreed with my diagnosis.
I called a Wellness Pharmacist in town to see what he might offer. He answered the phone and said, “Ma’am, you sound like you can barely breath." He said that I should not worry that I couldn’t take antibiotics as there were other options and suggested that I take olive leaf tablets which cured my cough.
I decided that no one was ever going to put me in a straight jacket on a low IV drip of antibiotics. I thought that that procedure would slowly kill me. I also had become allergic to all the allergy medicines available such as Zyrtec and Claritin.
I searched around for a different cure for my allergies. My Pastor encouraged me to see Mitchell A. Fleisher, M.D., D.Ht., who has helped me tremendously. His new patients have to answer 80 very specific, personal questions about their health, life, likes, dislikes, etc., and he takes blood tests. He figured out my personal remedy, which I take each morning as well as herbal supplements. My mom couldn’t believe how much my health improved with Dr.. Fleisher’s remedies. I no longer wake up congested. I can remember names and things that I couldn’t when I was younger. I have more energy and I can think clearly now. I recently had a D & C. Dr. Fleisher prescribed some homeopathic medicines for me to take before and after surgery, so I would have no pain. I had no pain or cramping, minimal bleeding, and I felt great!
My health and life have been greatly improved with taking homeopathic medicine and supplements. I think that I could have done much better in school, and had a much better quality of life if I had been taking homeopathic remedies when I was much younger.
I strongly recommend and support the use of homeopathic remedies and supplements. My experience, I believe, is relevant to countless thousands who struggle with similar problems not resolvable by traditional medicine.
Sincerely,
