Metastatic Squamous Cell Carcinoma & Cardiac Arrhythmias "When I received the message that the skin biopsy report showed the tumor to be malignant, I didn't sink into a pit of despair. The dermatologist assured me that the lesion on my chest had been completely removed and that the margins were clear. "Nothing to worry about", he said. When he removed it again six weeks later, he assured me once again that the margins were clear and I had nothing to worry about. When the cancer moved into the lymph glands of my right armpit, I saw a surgeon who did a biopsy that indicated the tumor was metastatic squamous cell carcinoma, which had migrated from my chest wall. I contacted an oncologist in Los Angeles who arranged for me to have surgery within a week, because the tumor had grown quickly to the size of a small orange. After surgery, I was referred to several radiation oncologists who recommended that I begin a six-week radiation program. One of the radiation oncologists told me I had a 30% chance of losing my arm from the radiation, but, if I didn't do it, I was committing suicide. Both radiation oncologists also told me I would have to give up all the antioxidants I was taking, especially vitamins C and E; the explanation being that radiation is an 'oxidative treatment' (I wondered if this is a matter of semantics or science?) I thanked these doctors for their advice while telling them that I would look into alternative therapies. I wanted to give my body the best possible chance to heal itself. Here's another health challenge, I thought. I've been through a few and always learned so much from each, not only about illness, but about the system for dealing with it. Sadly, I've seen too many medical doctors who seem dogmatic in their approach to medicine rather than scientific, too willing to base their practice on arrogant 'authority' rather than real life, clinical experience. I'm fortunate enough to know some doctors who are willing and able to explore the ways of true health rather than rely upon the medical business dogma. Dr. Mitch Fleisher is at the top of my list of healers. Though he is on the other side of the continent (in Virginia), my first phone call was to Dr. Mitch. With his powerful protocol of detoxification and nutritional supplementation to build my immune system, so that my body could take care of the cancer, I have astounded the radiation oncologists who told me I was committing suicide by not following their regimen. Dr. Fleisher's nutritional supplement regimen and homeopathic guidance along with raw organic vegetable juices, saunas, and putting the mind in the healing mode got me through this learning experience while curing my body of cancer. The cancer has not returned after three years. Recently, I had CT and PET scans that confirmed this. I am thankful for Dr. Fleisher's help. Actually, I feel more energetic and healthful now than before the cancer. I had also been having trouble with cardiac arrhythmias (runs in the family) and Dr. Fleisher has helped me to address that using homeopathy and his nutritional supplement regimen for the heart as well. Yes, it can be done, but curing oneself of cancer and heart disease takes personal commitment and a doctor informed about reinforcing the immune system and healing the whole person. There is none better than Dr. Mitch Fleisher."
